The Project

1000M is one of the last towers designed by legendary architect Helmut Jahn — 73 stories of luxury rentals at 1000 S Michigan Avenue, with interiors by Kara Mann, 80,000+ square feet of amenity space, and a private observation deck above Grant Park. A defining address, and a high-stakes lease-up to match: hundreds of units to fill, in a market where every luxury tower claims “unprecedented amenities.”

The Challenge

Lease-ups don’t get a second first impression. 1000M needed its marketing to communicate what the spec sheet can’t — the feeling of living above Grant Park with Lake Michigan filling the window — and it needed a steady stream of campaign creative, not a one-time shoot.

What We Produced

  • The brand film — a cinematic that sits on the homepage of 1000mchicago.com, directed to Jahn’s architecture and the “art of uncompromised living” positioning.
  • The lifestyle video — a huge undertaking: a cast of 7 actors working alongside the leasing staff, spread over 4 days of shooting across 80,000 square feet of amenities. Cast, directed, and produced with the renter persona as the lead character: mornings in the wintergarden, evenings on the 73rd-floor deck. Buyers aren’t leasing square footage; they’re leasing that hour of the day.
  • Architectural photography — the full image library across residences, amenities, and 360° vistas, art-directed to match the brand world.
  • Social reels — vertical cutdowns engineered for the paid social campaign, keeping the ad account fed with fresh creative through the lease-up.
